APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — An Appleton house fire caused about $150,000 worth of damage.
It happened around 4 a.m. Thursday in the 600 block of E. Francis Street.
Upon arrival, crews found the exterior rear of the structure fully engulfed with fire extending into both the first and second floors.
All occupants escaped the home without injury.
The cause is under investigation.
Properly working smoke alarms were not present in the home, firefighters say.
The American Red Cross is assisting the occupants of the home.
