GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — It’s another sign that spring is right around the corner.
Green Bay’s Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department announced Wednesday the docks at the Metro Boat Launch have been put in at the mouth of the Fox River.
Officials remind users that a launch fee is required for all watercrafts. There is no fee required to launch kayaks or canoes.
Daily launch passes can be purchased at the pay station for $6 at the VenTek pay station. Use exact cash, as no change is provided, or a debit/credit card, to complete the transaction. You will receive a pass immediately.
Users can also purchase an annual launch pass for $60. Seniors (62+) receive a $10 discount. To buy an annual pass, visit the Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department office at 100 N Jefferson St, room 510.
