GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The shelter at Green Bay’s Preble Park was damaged by wind Sunday.
Large sections of the roof were damaged, with metal sheets torn off.
There’s no estimate for how much the repairs will cost, according to James Andersen, deputy director for the parks.
The building is closed at this time of year anyway. No one was injured, he said.
Wind gusts of more than 40 mph were reported in the metro area Sunday.
