APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) — Outagamie County Health and Human Services wants to hear from you as they develop their Three-Year Aging Plan.
In 2024, Outagamie County received $131,962 in Title III-B Supportive Services, and $69,987 in Title III-E National Family Caregiver Support Program (NFCSP).
As a result of receiving funding, Outagamie County Aging Services is conducting a survey to help develop the Three-Year Aging Plan; which is created to improve services and programs for seniors age 60 and older as well as their caregivers.
Kali Erickson, aging and nutrition supervisor for Outagamie County Health and Human Services, says the questions in the survey are pretty open ended.
“We have seniors select the top three service areas that they see needing improvement, and we have them share the main challenges they’re facing,” said Erickson. “Then we ask questions like ‘What are you seeing in other communities?’ so we can reach out to other county agencies or non-profits.”
The survey will close in April; with the Three-Year Aging Plan coming out before the end of this year.
