(WTAQ-WLUK) — A Wautoma man has been arrested by Wisconsin State Patrol in Oshkosh for operating a vehicle under the influence. It is his fourth offense.
It happened at 2:41 a.m. Sunday on Highway 44 at W. 4th Avenue when a state trooper saw signs that the driver was driving impaired and speeding.
The driver admitted to the trooper that he consumed alcohol before the stop and refused to take a sobriety test. Due to the circumstances, the suspect was placed under arrest. He refused to consent to a blood draw, and a warrant was obtained to perform the procedure.
The suspect was then taken to Winnebago County Jail.
