(WTAQ-WLUK) — At the halfway point of the season, 34 lake sturgeon were speared on Lake Winnebago and 17 on the Upriver Lakes, according to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
The Saturday count on Lake Winnebago includes 4 juvenile females, 9 adult females, and 21 males.
The totals for Lake Winnebago for the season are now 30 juvenile females, 80 adult females, and 115 males.

The Upriver Lakes saw five juvenile females, four adult females, and eight males harvested on Saturday.
For the season, the Upriver Lakes harvest totals are 14 juvenile females, 23 adult females, and 53 males.
The DNR reports the Stockbridge and Quinney registration stations will be the only stations to remain closed on Sunday. All other stations will be open.
