GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — NEW Community Clinic in Green Bay is officially rolling out it’s new mobile clinic.
The mobile clinic arrived in Green Bay in July 2023 and was operating as a pilot program. Now operating in full swing.
The Mobile Unit has two exam rooms that can be used for medical or dental care.
Specifically, the mobile unit offers:
- Acute care (sore throat, cough, flu, etc.)
- Immunizations for Children and Adults
- Preventative health screenings
- Chronic disease management
- Dental exams for pain
- Cleanings and preventative care
- WIC services
- Screening for Behavioral Health Services
The mobile unit primarily serves those who live in areas where it’s difficult for them to access care.
“Our goal for 2024 is to serve 700 individuals,” said Kim Franzen, CEO of N. E. W. Community Clinic. “So we are really hoping that we can continue to extend our services through the mobile unit.”
During its pilot phase, the mobile unit visited the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC), We All Rise: African American Resource Center, and House of Hope.
