Milwaukee Brewers
As Spring Training draws near, the Milwaukee Brewers continue to tinker with their pitching staff. The big move of course was last week’s trade of Corbin Burnes to the Baltimore Orioles but the Brewers added another veteran arm by signing free agent Jakob Junis to the roster. The 31 year old is entering his 10th major league season, after appearing in 40 games for the San Francisco Giants last year, making four starts. He was 4-3 with a 3.87 earned run average. The Brewers obliged the Giants with a pitcher of their own, sending 2019 first round draft pick Ethan Small to San Francisco for cash considerations. The Brewers pitchers and catchers report to the Maryvale Spring Training complex next week.
