PESHTIGO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Peshtigo man has been charged with sexually exploiting minors, federal officials announced Wednesday.
Zachary A. Zastawniak, 23, is accused of sexually exploiting two underage individuals on or about July 7 and Aug. 23 of last year, according to a two-count indictment.
Zastawniak knowingly employed, used, persuaded, induced, and coerced two minors to “engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing a visual depiction of [the victims] engaged in the lascivious exhibition of [the victims’] genitals.
If convicted of either count, Zastawniak faces a mandatory 15-year prison sentence, with a maximum of 30 years. He may also be fined up to $250,000 on each count.
