SHEBOYGAN, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A three-vehicle crash in Sheboygan County Wednesday left five Northeast Wisconsin residents injured.
At 3:23 p.m., a 911 call was placed to the Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center regarding a three-vehicle accident on I-43 northbound near Superior Avenue.
One vehicle had two occupants. A female driver, 31, and a male passenger, 32, both from Sheboygan County, suffered minor injuries.
In another vehicle was a female driver, 38, and two juveniles, all from Brown County. Two parties, unspecified, were injured and transported for care by ambulance.
The third vehicle was driven by a female, 19, from Manitowoc County. She was also taken by an ambulance for treatment.
Officials said poor road conditions and inattentive driving look to be contributing factors. An investigation into the crash is ongoing. Names of those involved have not been released.
