MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) – Events around Wisconsin celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Today’s 43rd Annual “Tribute and Ceremony” at the Capitol in Madison is the official state event – the oldest official MLK state celebration in the U.S. It starts at noon in the rotunda.
In Milwaukee, the 40th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Birthday Celebration begins at 4:00 at the Marcus Center for Performing Arts.
The 33rd Annual Fox Cities King Day celebration is at 6:00 at Lawrence University Memorial Chapel, and Viterbo University in La Crosse hosts its Community Celebration beginning at 7:00.
