SHEBOYGAN, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Wisconsin State Patrol arrested a 46-year-old Sheboygan man Monday for operating while intoxicated, 5th offense.
According to a news release, a trooper was conducting speed enforcement at approximately 3:45 p.m. when they observed a Buick LaCrosse traveling higher than the posted speed limit on County Road Y.
The trooper activated their emergency lights and siren, but the vehicle failed to yield, until it pulled into a driveway. The driver exited the vehicle and attempted to go into the residence, but the trooper utilized verbal commands, advising him to return to his vehicle.
Upon making contact with the driver, Raymond Denny, the trooper observed signs of impairment. Denny was arrested after completing standardized field sobriety tests.
