OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — An Oshkosh chapel will be closed until further notice after a theft.
The Most Blessed Sacrament Parish says on the evening of Dec. 29, its Holy Eucharist was stolen from the Oshkosh Adoration Chapel at 605 Merritt Ave.
The church is in contact with the police and is encouraging anyone with information to call the Oshkosh Police Department non-emergency number at (920) 236-5700.
In a social media post, the parish wrote in part:
All are asked to pray for a safe and quick return of the Holy Eucharist and for forgiveness from the Lord for the person or persons involved.
The adoration chapel will remain closed until the investigation is complete and a security solution is in place.
