MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WTAQ) – Backed by a huge game from quarterback Jordan Love, the Green Bay Packers went into the always hostile environment of U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis and and spank the Vikings 33-10.
The Packers have been dealing with injuries to key players throughout the season…but the met Vikings team that had injury problems of their own.
For the game, Love had 3 touchdown passes, and ran for another, to lead the Packers, who now find themselves in control of there own playoff destiny. Beat the Chicago Bears next Sunday at Lambeau Field and the Packers will make the NFL post-season as a wildcard team.
Running back Aaron Jones had a second game in a row with 120 rushing yards. Receiver Bo Melton had six catches for 105 yards and one touchdown.
Green Bay’s record has improved to 8 & 8. They will play the longtime rival Chicago Bears next Sunday at Lambeau Field, kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
