UPDATE: Shortly before 10 a.m., Green Bay police confirmed they had completed their search of the building and students would be reporting back to school.

GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Green Bay West High School was evacuated Thursday due to a bomb threat.
The school district posted this message on social media:
“This morning District administration became aware of a bomb threat at West High School and law enforcement was notified. In an abundance of caution the police are having the school searched with a K9 unit. Students are being evacuated. Once law enforcement gives the all clear, students will return to West High School and the school day will commence.”
The Green Bay Police Dept. says it has additional officers on scene as a precautionary measure.
Due to the incident, the food pantry at Resurrection Lutheran Church will be closed Thursday.
