SUAMICO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A student at Bay Port High School was taken into custody Monday after law enforcement confiscated drugs and guns from a vehicle on school property.
According to an email sent to Bay Port families and staff, a tip led to the seizure of “illegal narcotics and two firearms” from a vehicle in the Bay Port parking lot during the school day. One student was arrested.
School officials worked with police, who determined “there was no direct threat or intent to harm students or staff.”
The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority. As always, students and staff are encouraged to say something if they see something.
