BELLEVUE, WI (WTAQ) — Friday is your chance to help Fill the Cruiser!
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office will be outside Pick n’ Save in Bellevue on Lime Kiln Rd. on Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. taking donations for NEW Community Shelter.
As you’re doing your holiday shopping, purchase a pre-packaged grocery bag of non-perishable food items. After you check out, bring it outside to the officers at their patrol vehicles.
Captain Jody Lemmens with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office says they want to fill up as many squad cars as possible.
“In years past we’ve had to bring out our larger vehicles because the squad cars couldn’t keep up; That’s our hope again this year,” said Lemmens. “Who knows, maybe we’ll even have to get the bearcat out and fill that up!”
The Green Bay Police Department is also participating at the Green Bay Pick n’ Save on Main St. from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Ashwaubenon Police Department will be taking donations at Metro Market in Green Bay on Lombardi Access Rd. from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
