GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A man arrested for sexual assault after the victim’s father put up “wanted” posters was sentenced Tuesday to one year in jail.
Kevin Green, now 22, previously pleaded no contest to repeated sexual assault of the same child for incidents in 2019 with a 14-year-old girl. He was convicted in August of 2022.

Green was also placed on for probation for 12 years by Judge Kendell Kelley. If he violates the probation terms, Green would serve six years in prison.
Before the sentence was issued, Green declined the opportunity to address the court.
Jesse Matzke posted the signs in September 2019, warning people about Green and because he was upset charges hadn’t been filed for incidents with his daughter. Shortly after the posters went up, charges were filed.
According to the criminal complaint, the victim told police she met Green back in 2016, but they didn’t start having intercourse until the beginning of 2019. She also admitted to investigators that he would get upset and hit her often, and on multiple occasions, Green would pull her hair and even choke her. During an interview with police back in July, Green admitted to having sex with Matzke’s daughter multiple times but said the last time was in March of 2019.
While FOX 11 generally does not identify the victims of sexual assault, Matzke talked publicly about the incidents because he believed police were failing to protect his daughter.
