GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Catches made on the field by Green Bay Packers players are making a difference beyond the scoreboard.
The Packers and Tork teamed up for the third “Tackle Hygiene with Every Catch” campaign.
For every completed catch made by the Packers in the first five home games of the season, Tork pledged to donate $250 worth of hygiene products to two local organizations.
With 116 catches, Tork will donate $29,000 in hygiene products to Pillars and Harbor House.
And who helped make some of those catches was Packers wide receiver, Jayden Reed. He was at Lambeau Field Tuesday to help present the donations to the organizations.
“It is great to be here today, representing my teammates and being able to see one of the many ways to give back to the community, first-hand. I think I speak for all of us when I say thank you to the dedicated people at Pillars and Harbor House; all the work you put in to lift those up in need is amazing and life-changing. We honor and support your missions and helping our neighbors facing homelessness and domestic abuse,” Reed said.
Each organization received $14,500.
