APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — “The Music and Magic of Christmas” is the theme for the 52nd annual Downtown Appleton Christmas Parade.
This year’s parade is Tuesday, November 21 at 7 p.m. and moves east on College Avenue from State Street to Drew Street.
It’s billed as the largest nighttime Christmas parade in the Midwest.
The 90 minute parade will feature 85 units; including 24 bands.
As many as 80,000 spectators gather in downtown Appleton for this holiday tradition.
Spectators can start putting down their chairs and blankets along the route to claim their spot as early as noon on parade day, but they must stay with their belongings.
