Milwaukee Bucks
A two game skid is in the rear view mirror for the Milwaukee Bucks as they returned to Fiserv Forum Monday to dispatch the Chicago Bulls 1118-109. Giannis Antetokounmpo has been on a scoring binge of late and piled up 35 points to go along with 11 rebounds in the victory. He helped the Bucks race out to a 17 point lead in the opening quarter. The Bulls crawled back and forced the Bucks to finish strong. Bobby Portis delivered another double double off the bench with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Battling back from a calf injury, Damian Lillard added a dozen. Khris Middleton, still playing on limited minutes, put up 13 points in 19 minutes and it was enough to surpass Michael Redd to become the 5th leading all-time scorer in franchise history. The Bucks improved to 6-4 and they will travel to Toronto to play the Raptors Wednesday night.
Milwaukee will also have to play on without former Marquette star Jae Crowder. It was announced on Monday that Crowder is dealing with a left abductor issue and abdominal tear that will keep him sidelined for as much as 8 weeks. Crowder had been averaging just over 8 points a game in his first full season with the Bucks after joining the club late last season.
