OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Neighbors are being asked to check their surveillance cameras following a weekend fire near downtown Oshkosh.
Police say crews were called to the 700 block of Mt. Vernon Street around 2 a.m. Sunday. They arrived to find an unattached garage engulfed in flames, with the fire beginning to spread to the house.
Police are asking neighbors to check their cameras between 1-3 a.m. on Sunday for any suspicious people. Anyone with surveillance video that may help is asked to email it to Detective Boerner at rboerner@ci.oshkosh.wi.us.
