GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Officials say an apartment fire in Green Bay Wednesday morning that caused an estimated $60,000 in damage was sparked by “unattended candles/incense.”
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department responded to a 16-unit apartment building at 2430 Sycamore Drive at approximately 7:35 a.m. after receiving reports of fire alarms activating and the smell of smoke.
Upon arrival, firefighters observed smoke coming from the rear roof area of the building.
