OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) — Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, will be at UW-Oshkosh on Thursday.
Yovanovitch, who served three times as U.S. Ambassador, most recently in Kyiv as the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine from 2016 to 2019, will take part in a conversation at 6:15 p.m. in the Reeve Union ballroom.
Also a best-selling author, Yovanovitch will share her insights from her 33-year career in the U.S. Foreign Service.
“We’re going to pick her brain on what’s going on in Israel, what’s going on in Ukraine, along with her ideas on leadership and the government’s role on everything that’s going on in the world,” said Mike Lueder, UW-Oshkosh Director of the Center for Civic and Community Engagement.
Before Ukraine, Yovanovitch served as ambassador to Armenia from 2008 to 2011 and Kyrgyzstan from 2005 to 2008.
