TOWN OF GROVER, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A baby died from her injuries sustained in a Marinette County intersection crash.
It happened just after 4:30 p.m. Friday on US Highway 41 at Kamm Road in the town of Grover.
Deputies say a vehicle, driven by a 46-year-old Coleman man, was traveling on Kamm road when he had stopped for the stop sign at US Highway 41.
The man proceeded into the intersection of US Highway 41 and collided with a vehicle traveling south, driven by a 30-year-old Oconto man.
Inside the Oconto man’s vehicle was rear seat passenger, 8-month-old Alana Price, who was restrained in a child safety seat.
Price was flown to the hospital and passed away on Tuesday.
Failure to yield from a stop sign was a factor in the crash that remains under investigation, the sheriff’s office says.
