GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A mental health hospital nurse pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges he had inappropriate sexual contact with patients.
Ysurf Shariff, 35, faces six counts, including three of second-degree sexual assault of a child under age 16, for incidents earlier this year.
No trial date was set. Shariff returns to court Oct. 20 for a motions hearing, after his attorney filed motions to suppress statements given to police, court records show.
According to the criminal complaint, a 13-year-old female patient approached Shariff and asked to have sexual contact with him. He allegedly allowed the girl to touch him, and then allegedly touched her. He denied the allegations.
A 16-year-old girl told police Shariff would only give her medication if she exposed herself to him. Shariff denied the allegations.
