GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — A new Green Bay nonprofit that officially opened in June had it’s official ribbon cutting on Wednesday.
Rooted In‘s mission is to strengthen the health of the Greater Green Bay community through partnerships and seed to table programs that create and maintain a sustainable local food system.
Executive director, Selena Darrow, says they have lots to offer the community.
“Our Grow Program encourages edible gardening, our Nourishment For All Program offers fresh foods to vulnerable populations, and recipes are also a big part of Rooted In.”
Rooted In’s office is located inside Trinity Lutheran Church at 330 S. Broadway in Green Bay.
