OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Immunization clinics offering free vaccines to eligible children have been scheduled for September and October.
These clinics offer immunizations to those eligible under the Vaccines for Children program.
According to Outagamie County Public Health, children are eligible if they:
- are enrolled or eligible for Medicaid
- are American Indian or Alaska Native
- do not have health insurance
- have health insurance that does not pay for all vaccines
- have health insurance that doesn’t provide full coverage for vaccines
Immunization clinics will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 12 and Tuesday, Oct. 10 at the Outagamie County Public Health office in Appleton.
Appointments are available between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. and can be made by calling 920-832-5100.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the clinic by a parent or legal guardian. Immunization records should be brought along to appointments.
It is recommended that children eat about an hour prior to their appointment and stay hydrated with water.
