GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man suspected of shooting towards a group of people and injuring one person in late June has been identified and charged.
William Munson, 47, of Bellevue, turned himself in at the Green Bay Police Department on Tuesday. Munson was charged on Wednesday with first-degree reckless injury, first-degree recklessly endangering safety, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
The shooting took place around midnight on June 25 in the 1100 block of Main Street. Witnesses said there was a fight and some yelling before a gunman fired multiple shots toward a group of people in a parking lot. A 22-year-old woman from Sobieski was injured.
