GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The new skills bike course at Triangle Sports Area is ready to ride.
There are three different course levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Park officials say it will be the first mountain bike skills course in Northeast Wisconsin.
The executive director says that riders will need to be aware of ongoing construction while hitting the courses.
“We’re just telling the public that right now we have about a week of detail work to finish. So if you are going to come and ride in the next week, please just stay out of the builder’s way so he can finish all the fine tuning that needs to happen,” said Holly Baseman, executive director of the Baird Creek Preservation Foundation.
The entire course cost almost $500,000 to build.
The project is a partnership between the city of Green Bay and the Baird Creek Preservation Foundation.
