TOWN OF BAILEYS HARBOR, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A 23-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a weekend crash in Door County.
Sheriff’s officials say the crash happened just after 5:30 p.m. Sunday on Highway 57 at Highway E in the town of Baileys Harbor. The initial investigation showed a pickup truck driven by an 83-year-old Baileys Harbor man was going north on 57. The truck hit the southbound motorcyclist while the driver tried to turn left onto E.
The motorcyclist, 23-year-old Bradley Jordan of Sturgeon Bay, was taken to the hospital, where he died.
Highway 57 was closed for more than three and a half hours after the crash.
Sheriff’s officials continue to investigate.
