KEWAUNEE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A 4H group from Kewaunee County enjoyed the sweet taste of success Thursday night.
The Kewaunee County 4H Club “Pilsen Skylighters” tasted their winning flavor from the Cedar Crest ice cream contest.
Their creation, Cow Lick, features vanilla ice cream with a caramel swirl, chocolate-covered pretzels and pieces of fudge.
Not only did the group get to share their flavor with family and friends with an ice cream party, they also received a $500 grand prize.
The top flavor is available as a feature flavor for Cedar Crest for the month of July — just in time for the Kewaunee County Fair.
Some past winning flavors were so popular that they became a part of Cedar Crest’s regular flavor line up.
