CLEVELAND, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Students now have the chance to begin their college educations at Lakeshore Technical College and continue at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
LTC announced the transfer agreement Tuesday. It allows students who graduate from LTC with associate’s degrees to enter UWM with junior standing.
“Our new partnership with UW-Milwaukee offers our students and community even more options for continuing their educational journeys in cities not far from our college,” LTC president Paul Carlsen said in a news release. “Students can now graduate from Lakeshore and complete their bachelor’s degree in a wider variety of academic programs at UW-Milwaukee, UW Oshkosh, UW-Green Bay, or Lakeland University.”
Carlsen says more than 400 LTC students transfer to four-year colleges annually.
