Neenah Home Damaged in Saturday Afternoon Fire

NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – No one was hurt in a house fire Saturday afternoon in Neenah.

Neenah-Menasha Fire Rescue says it was sent to a home in the 2400 block of Maple Grove Drive with smoke and fire showing at 12:15.

The fire department says it was able to quickly extinguish a fire in the home’s kitchen, but the home suffered significant smoke damage.

Neighbors were able to take a dog out of the home before fire crews arrived.

Damage to the home is estimated at $180,000, according to the fire department.

Neenah-Menasha Fire says it appears the fire was accidental, but it is still under investigation.
