FREEDOM, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A motorcyclist died in an Outagamie County crash Wednesday night.
It happened just before 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of County Trunk Highway E and Greiner Road.
Officials say a 52-year-old Seymour man on his motorcycle was traveling northbound on County Truck Highway E, approaching the intersection with Greiner Road. At the same time, an SUV, being driven by a 40-year-old town of Grand Chute man, was going westbound on Greiner Road, approaching the intersection. The SUV did not yield the right of way to the motorcycle and was struck.
The driver of the motorcycle died at the scene.
The driver of the SUV sustained minor injuries.
The intersection was closed for about five hours after the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
