GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — The oldest farmers’ market in the northeast region is coming back again in Green Bay for another summer season.
Saturday Farmers’ Market manager, Lamyai Kizzee, says this the the 106th season of the Saturday Green Bay Farmers’ Market.
Planning for the Saturday Farmers’ Market begins as early as January; when vendors can apply to be part of the market. Acceptance letters are later sent out in April.
Attendees can look forward to over 100 vendors.
“We’re looking forward to having more vendors this year,” said Kizzee. “We were able to expand our layout this year a bit to go all the way to Adams Street.”
The market is on Saturday’s from 7 a.m. – noon on Washington and Doty (stopping at Adams Street) Streets.
Based off of the numbers on the opening Saturday last year, Kizzee is expecting about 8,000 visitors on Saturday, May 27.
