FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Fond du Lac police are investigating after shots were fired near a gas station.
Officers responded to the area of South Main Street and East Pioneer Road just after 9 p.m. Tuesday for a report of possible gunshots.
Police searched the area and were unable to locate any potential witnesses. There also was no reported injuries property damage at the time.
Later that night, police received a call which led them to canvass the area directly around the Pioneer Pit Stop BP gas station at 20 East Pioneer Road. There, officers found handgun casings.
As of now, there remains no reported injuries from this incident.
Fond du Lac police say they will return to the area Wednesday for any additional evidence and video surveillance.
