MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Due to ongoing misconduct and vandalism issues, bathrooms at Manitowoc parks will be closed at certain times.
Starting immediately, the restrooms at Red Arrow Park and Washington Park will be closed weekdays during the school day.
The restrooms will open late afternoon on weekdays for after-school activities at the parks and will then automatically lock again at 9 p.m. At this time, the restrooms at both parks will be open their regular hours of 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The new restroom hours will continue through June 9, 2023, at which time they will be reassessed for the summer months.
Restrooms in all other City of Manitowoc parks that have automatic locks will continue to be open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
