DE PERE, WI (WTAQ) — Before Peter Cottontail arrives this Easter, make sure you’ve stocked up on your Easter chocolate.
Seroogy’s in De Pere and Ashwaubenon has been hard at work since after Christmas to make sure they have all your Easter favorites.
Seroogy’s makes over 15 different kinds of chocolate bunnies; including the small half-ounce baby bunny, all the way up to the three pound bunny. They also have chocolate eggs, fudge eggs, jelly beans, and more.
Marjorie Hitchcock, the Marketing Director at Seroogy’s, says the chocolate meltaways are always a best seller.
“We make a variety of different sizes and shapes; our meltaways are unique because we whip the chocolate with air to make them very light and melt in your mouth.” said Hitchcock.
Sales for Easter usually pick up right after Valentine’s Day. These next few days leading up to Easter are expected to be busy as well; and a special guest is expected to make an appearance. On Friday, April 7 from 3-5 p.m. and Saturday, April 8 from 1-3 p.m. the Easter Bunny will be at both locations.
