OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – Police say an Oshkosh West High School student brought an air soft gun to the school, prompting a response.
Officers were called to the school Friday morning to investigate a possible weapons complaint.

The Oshkosh Police Department is at West High School investigating a possible weapons complaint. We received information that a student possibly had a weapon. The student has been located, the reported weapon was located and has been identified as an air soft facsimile weapon. The students are safe and there are no injuries from this incident. We are continuing to investigate this further.
Police say the students are safe and no one was hurt.
