In their regular season home finale, the St. Norbert Green Knights defeated MSOE 69-57 for their ninth straight win, keeping alive their shot at a piece of the regular season title in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference with one game to go. At the very least, the Knights can finish no lower than second as Wisconsin Lutheran holds the tie breaking edge for the conference tournament’s top seed. The win ensures St. Norbert a first round bye in the NACC post-season and a home semifinal game. SNC built a 36-27 halftime lead but the Raiders hung around, even after the advantage grew to 20 in the second half. Evan Glaser led the way with 18 points, Carter Gebler added 16 and in his final regular season home game, the only senior on the roster, Michael Payant finished with 9. The Knights improved to 16-7 overall, 13-3 in the NACC and they’ll close the schedule at Edgewood College on Saturday. They’ll host the NACC semifinal at the Mulva Family Fitness Center on Friday, February 25.
