OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — There will be increased police presence at Webster Stanley Middle School in Oshkosh on Tuesday, after a student allegedly brought a gun to school Monday.
The Oshkosh Police Department says a school resource officer was advised on Monday that a student had brought a gun to school. At the time of the incident being reported, the student was no longer at the school.
Follow-up investigation located the allegedly involved students as well as the gun.
Oshkosh police say there is no danger to the public and that the police aren’t looking any additional people related to the matter.
As a precaution, though, there will be additional police presence on Tuesday.
