GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Know Your Options; The Green Bay Area Public School District is hosting this event for high schoolers to learn about college credit and work-based learning options available to them.
“We’re going to be having information on the courses that we offer in the district where students can earn college credit,” said Eric Conn, Associate Director of Teaching and Learning. “As well as courses where students have the opportunity to earn industry certification.”
Work-based learning options will be shared with students who attend; in which the student can take a course in a certain area while being employed in the community.
Students who attend the event will be able to share their post high-school aspirations and develop a course plan to help them achieve those goals.
Know your Options will be held on December 1 from 5:30-7 p.m. at Preble High School. All 8-11 grade students in the Green Bay Area Public School District are welcome to attend.
