The St. Norbert men’s basketball team won it’s first game of the year, the women’s team suffered it’s first loss and the ladies hockey team continued to roll on Tuesday night.
The guys defeated Concordia of Wisconsin in Mequon 74-64 behind 14 points each from Michael Payant and Evan Glaser. The Knights are 1-2 on the season getting off to a 1-0 start in NACC conference play.
The St. Norbert women fell on the road to UW Eau Claire 78-56, falling to 3-1 overall. Chloe Gruszynski and Kaycee Gierczak each scored 12 in the loss.
The women’s hockey team defeated UW Stevens Point 5-0, scoring twice in the first period and tacking on three more in the third. Brynn Waisman stopped 23 shots for St. Norbert (7-12) as the posted their 4th consecutive shutout victory.
