PULASKI, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – One of the three Pulaski teenagers who’ve had extended stays in a Milwaukee hospital following a horrific bonfire explosion two weeks ago has returned home.
Isaac Nelson’s mother confirms to FOX 11 he is home after a two-week stay at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital.
Brandon Brzeczkowski and Benjamin Van Asten remain in the hospital, recovering from their burn injuries.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Department says it continues to investigate the incident, which they say left dozens of teenagers with injuries when a 55-gallon drum partially filled with diesel fuel was rolled into the bonfire, causing it to explode. Investigators say they know of at least 60 people who were at the party, which was held outside a home where a Pulaski High School student lives.
