MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The final Marquette University Law School poll of the midterm election cycle shows a dead heat in the race for Wisconsin Governor, while the the lead of Republican incumbent US Senator, Ron Johnson, has widened over his Democratic challenger.
Among likely voters, 47% said they support incumbent Democrat Tony Evers for governor, while 46% support Republican challenger Tim Michels. That’s within the poll’s 4.8-percentage-point margin of error.
In September, the numbers were 47% for Evers and 44% for Michels.
It’s a different story in Wisconsin’s US Senate Race.

That’s a jump from September, when Johnson’s lead was 49%-48%.
The poll of 801 registered voters was conducted Oct. 3-9. That included 652 who identified themselves as likely voters.
