On a day when Green Bay Packers General Manager released 25 players to get to the regular season roster limit of 53, he signed one player, just for a day. Morgan Burnett will retire as a Packer after a 10 year, NFL career, his first 8 seasons in Green Bay. Drafted in the third round out of Georgia Tech in 2010, Burnett would go on to start 102 games with the Pack through 2017. He also started 11 post-season games. He would top 100 tackles in four straight seasons and finished his Green Bay career with nine interceptions and nine fumble recoveries. Burnett wrapped up his playing days with one season in Pittsburgh in 2018 and with Cleveland in 2019.
