FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A Milwaukee health care chain is considering an expansion to Fond du Lac.
Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin is not disclosing much about its plans but confirms it is eyeing the Fond du Lac market.
“Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network continues to explore opportunities that will complement and grow the health network’s presence. While a deed for a nine-acre property in Fond du Lac has been transferred to Froedtert Health, plans for this property are not finalized,” Gerry Steele, senior media relations specialist, told FOX 11.
A timeline for a decision was not provided.
The move comes three months after Advocate Aurora said it would expand its existing facility into a hospital.
The area is also served by St. Agnes Hospital.
