Lambeau now has new mobile ticket kiosks.
Fans can use their phones to get in by tapping the device or by scanning their barcode. It’s also compatible with an Apple Watch.
The Packers tested 20 of these machines last season and have increased that number to 100 for the 2022 campaign.
With great results from the soccer match between Bayern Munich and Manchester City a few weeks ago, officials are hoping long lines when entering Lambeau are a thing of the past.
“We tested this practice last year at a couple of gates. The fans responded really well, the gate attendants responded really well, and we’re just excited to get people in here earlier,” said Scott Thompson, Packers Business Analytics Manager.
During last season, fans were complaining that mobile tickets were causing an issue with how fast they could get into Lambeau, but it seems it’s not a problem anymore.
