MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ) — The Milwaukee Brewers have dealt All-Star closer Josh Hader to the San Diego Padres in exchange for four players as part of a blockbuster Monday deal.
The Brewers acquired left-handed pitcher Taylor Rogers, left-handed pitcher Robert Gasser, outfielder Esteury Ruiz and right-handed pitcher Dinelson Lamet in exchange for Hader. Rogers and Lamet will join the Major League team. Gasser will be assigned to Double-A Biloxi. Ruiz will join Triple-A Nashville.
